Wow.. just wow. A powerful speaker and he really does speak for a lot of white Americans. Rest assured.
I am so afraid something terrible will happen to Obama. As I white man with a long history of liberal values, I dont want to see a race war or a class war in the United States. This is a test for the heart and soul of American. I am not a religious man, but it seems to me that God is testing us. To determine whether we can move past the race issue forever and become one or whether the age of the American experiment has come to a close and the good influence- as a model and not as a bully- that power we once had in the world is lost.

I came here from the reddit commentary on the article about racism in McCain/Palin supporters to watch this with my boyfriend – what an exciting speaker, what exciting and inspiring words! This is a great moment in time. I hope we keep going forward, never look back.

Blah! The song may have offended some, but Rush Libaugh said that Obama identifies himself as an African American, and people of color (I am not trying to offend) have changed what they wanted to be called so many times more then their socks. Negro is just another name for a black person. They didn’t mind that at first. They just can’t decide what they wanted to be called. He wants to take away many of our rights and liberties and by saying that most of the Republican party is white you are bashing whites, which is what I am. When did color become such an issue?!! It was when good ol’ Obama become Prez. He is going to be a nation that DIVIDES us not UNITES us. People don’t like him because he is going to take many of our freedoms that are right in the constitution- like the right to bear arms and freedom of speech-which btw that song was an expression of our first amendment rights, but if a black person says something against a white person, its ok-what a double standard. away, and he actually a socialist,(He attended a socialist conference- did ANY of you know that?) not a democrat. We need TWO parties in congress. Or just a brand new goverment all together. This is NOT what our forefathers would have wanted. He wants us to get out our cars- how the heck are all of you going to get to work- that is-if any of you even have a job?
